Geo Fair Trade Symposium

The Geo Fair Trade Symposium to be held May 13 at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences will unveil the new web-based Geo Fair Trade tool. This tool has been designed by an EU consortium of Research and Technology experts. It is meant to help increase the traceability and transparency of agricultural supply chains from producers to consumers.
The web-based tool will support the development of trade opportunities for Southern producers, while also assisting those marketing and consuming the goods in the North. During the May 13 symposium, the Geo Fair Trade tool will be introduced, explained and then evaluated by Procurement Officers, Certification Institutes and researchers.
