Fair Trade Experience
Scotland's biggest Fair Trade event of the year will be hosted at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall Saturday, March 5th and Sunday, March 6th from 11am to 6pm. As this event is being celebrated for its 9th consecutive year, it provides an opportunity for spreading Fair Trade information to a vast audience while also enabling a multitude of Fair Trade producers and entrepreneurs from across the developing world and businesses from the UK to join together in a grand Fair Trade experience.
During this event, there will be several speakers as well as a variety of entertainment including free workshops, free Fair Trade samples and tastings, craft activities for kids, live world music, a fashion show, theatre performances from Hopskotch and Fair Trade comedy performances, footie stunts, a film link to Ghana, and other films and documentaries. Several Fair Trade products will be available for sale at over 30 booths. These Fair Trade products include: food, drinks, crafts, beauty products, home wears, toys, music, books, jewelry, clothing. There will be plenty of Fair Trade informational opportunities and ethical Fair Trade innovation for everyone.
