Altrocioccolato 2012 (12-14 October)

Altrocioccolato ("Other chocolate") is a traditional Italian Fair, dedicated mainly to Fair Trade Chocolate and other Fair Trade food products, that has been organised in the central region of Umbria for the past 11 years. In 2011, they had more than 30.000 participants.
For this year’s edition - planned for a 3-day weekend between 12-14 October -, the organisation wants to put an emphasis on the European dimension of this issue. They are, therefore, inviting European WFTO members to attend Altrocioccolato (and possibly others events as well) and have their own stands at the fair. They are proposing to cover for accommodation and meals during the 3 days of the event for all participating WFTO members delegates, and inviting them to attend a meeting with Ivory Coast public institutions and Cooperatives involved in Fair Trade.
They are offering a very special deal for WFTO European members:
"We will take on room and board during the 3-day event for organizations' delegates that will accept our invitation; they will be welcomed in an eco friendly tourist facility by Trasimeno Lakeside ... and Organizations directly working with cocoa, sugar and coffee chains will have the possibility to play an active part in sectoral table with Ivorian authorities.
Moreover, organization provides fair commercial involvement formulas open to the public to allow selling chocolate and other fair-trade products distributed in their own country ...
Altrocioccolato coordination will find a solution to each logistic or economic problem that could stop any organizations to participate against their will".
